Norte Energia reaffirms its commitment to ethics and high professional standards through its Integrity Program, promoting awareness about anti-corruption, illicit accounting practices and money laundering. The Program is aligned with international treaties developed by the UN and the OECD, of which Brazil is a signatory, as well as Brazilian anti-corruption laws, such as Laws No. 12846/2013, No. 8429/92, No. 8666/93, and No. 9613/98.
The Integrity Program is managed by the Compliance department and includes regulations and mechanisms that work to prevent, detect, and mitigate irregular behavior, promoting a corporate ethical culture.
One of the program’s objectives is to raise awareness and align employees, interns, suppliers and partners with anti-corruption principles, ensuring that the Company does not engage in illicit practices. During the reporting period, no significant risks or instances of corruption were identified, and all compliance processes were maintained.
