Norte Energia monitors the occupational health of its workers is through the Occupational Health Medical Control Program (OHMCP), which is planned and executed in accordance with NR-07 and includes occupational examinations (admission, periodic, risk change and dismissal checks). Individual results and the annual report allow the effectiveness of risk control measures to be assessed. All occupational health management takes place at the Belo Monte outpatient clinic, where medical care is provided, including urgent and emergency care.

In addition, we promote daily safety dialogues and health campaigns, in addition to the Quality of Life Program, reinforcing our commitment to employee well-being. The Company also has an Ergonomics Working Group (NR-17), focused on evaluating and improving workplaces to prevent discomfort and occupational illnesses.

The Company follows GDPR (General Data Protection Law) guidelines, ensuring absolute medical confidentiality of health information, which is used exclusively for occupational purposes. To achieve this, the SOC platform is currently used, certified under the ISO 27001 standard, which is the international reference for Information Security Management. This tool has user management, so that only healthcare professionals can access our employees’ medical information.

The 24-hour outpatient clinic at Belo Monte HPP, sponsored by the Company, provides medical care, including urgent and emergency care. Test results and annual reports help to assess the effectiveness of risk control measures.
