Workers who are not employees

In addition to our own employees, we have 1,259 professionals linked to the Company under other formal employment bonds, including consultants, outsourced and self-employed workers or volunteers, who perform various functions, including administrative work, operational work at the plants (maintenance and operation), community relations, institutional relations and general services. 

Between 2022 and 2024, we implemented a planned 32% reduction in our outsourced workforce, resulting in a direct decrease in related operating costs. This optimization, carried out strategically, ensured that operations were kept efficiently and with reduced impact.

Note: the number of outsourced workers was obtained based on the Monthly Statistical Report (MSR), which manages all third parties with active contracts with Norte Energia S.A. At the end of the fiscal year, on December 31, all outsourced workers were included in the MSR.
