Discussion of the long and short term strategy or plan for managing Scope 1 emissions, emission reduction targets, and a review of performance against these targets

Norte Energia S.A.’s strategy includes a series of initiatives aimed at reducing GHG emissions. They comprise the Altamira Solar Power Plant (São Joaquim), the Green Energy Project in Xingu – which integrates solar energy and electric mobility solutions –, renewable energy certificates trading, participation in the BNDES Living Forest matchfunding, in addition to several Research, Development and Innovation (PDI) projects focused on sustainability.
