Note: as part of the evolution of its environmental management processes, until 2023 Norte Energia considered that the amount of waste generated was equivalent to the amount of waste disposed of, so that temporarily stored waste was not counted. From 2024 onwards, with the acquisition of a scale, effective weighing of stored waste became possible. This change represents a significant advance in waste control and traceability, strengthening the Company’s environmental management and contributing to more accurate and responsible decision-making.
