To add to the actions to promote and engage workers in the occupational health and safety management system, we strengthen our actions through Cipa (Internal Accident Prevention Committee). Through this dialogue and relationship channel, worker representatives participated in field inspections, received information on all incidents, investigation results and improvements implemented in periodic and extraordinary meetings, and were informed of each update to hazard identification and risk assessment of the OSH programs – Risk Management Program (RMP) and Occupational Health Medical Control Program (PCMSO), which are available for consultation by all workers.
Norte Energia has its own Occupational Health and Safety team, which carries out daily inspections to assess compliance with the control measures provided for in the RMP and compliance with legal requirements. Daily inspections also aim to identify the emergence of new risks during the execution of activities and propose changes in processes or implementation of improvements, which are later inserted or updated in the risk inventory matrix, making the process organic and of continuous improvement.
