Reporting period, frequency and contact point

The 2024 Sustainability Report covers the period from January 1 to December 31, 2024, coinciding with that of the Company’s financial statements, and presents strategies, objectives, indicators, management processes and actions carried out throughout this period. By releasing this report, we reaffirm our transparent stance and alignment with a sustainable growth model, disclosing our performance on environmental, social, economic and governance aspects annually since 2020. 

The report was prepared in accordance with the 2021 Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, supported by the sector indicators of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) for energy distributors and generators, an Integrated Report structure, the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and the requirements of the Annual Social and Environmental Responsibility Report of the Brazilian National Power Agency (ANEEL). Furthermore, we correlate Norte Energia’s actions with the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Equator Principles. 

We also highlight that the report, published in July 2025, is in line with the 2024 Management Report published on 02/06/2025. The annual financial statements comply with Brazilian accounting practices and include guidelines of the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) the Accounting Pronouncements Committee (CPC), and the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
