The Belo Monte Hydroelectric Power Complex operates according to systemic water resource optimization criteria defined by the National Electric System Operator (ONS). Furthermore, the Pimental HPP operation uses hydrographs in decision-making for the Reduced Flow Stretch (TVR) of the Xingu River, fully meeting the requirements outlined in the concession agreement. 

The availability factor of the Company’s generation assets remains within the parameters established as targets, reflecting a high level of reliability. This performance is ensured by a robust maintenance plan, based on a preventive management approach and early action for operation and maintenance, guaranteeing efficiency rates superior to other plants in the sector.
