It is the responsibility of the Board of Directors to define Norte Energia’s long-term strategies, in addition to monitoring the Board’s execution of established actions and making decisions on relevant business issues, in line with the attributions defined in the company’s Bylaws. The body is also responsible for approving the policies and guidelines that guide the company’s administration.
The Board of Directors meets regularly once a month, with the possibility of extraordinary meetings whenever summoned by the chairman or by two thirds of its members.
