Role of the highest governance body in sustainability reporting

The sustainability report undergoes the following stages until its approval by the Board of Directors: verification by the Executive Board, which assessed the accuracy and consistency of the information presented; analysis by the Sustainability Committee, which aligned the information presented with the Company’s sustainability objectives and goals; and, finally, approval by the Board of Directors, which ratified the accuracy and completeness of the information presented and approved the publication of the report. 

The document was submitted to the following bodies before being approved by the Board of Directors: initial verification by the Executive Board, which assessed the accuracy and consistency of the information presented, and subsequent analysis by the Sustainability Committee, which ensured the alignment of the content with the Company’s sustainability objectives.
