Governance is supported by committees such as Audit, Risk, and Compliance, with monthly meetings to monitor targeted matters. The Company actively participates in energy sector associations and holds meetings with indigenous communities and peoples to hear feedback and discuss their demands.
All complaint records are monitored until they are fully resolved, and the effectiveness of the channels is assessed through satisfaction surveys in the project’s areas of influence. Compliance with legislation and regulations is reported to Senior Management, including the Audit, Compliance and Risk Committee and the Supervisory Board.

Norte Energia’s Whistleblower Channel is a confidential, impartial and independent resource, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to report ethical violations, illegal activities or conduct contrary to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics. All complaints are thoroughly analyzed, and their conclusions are published on the channel’s website, available only by entering the protocol number that is provided to the author at the time of registration.
Available to internal and external audiences, the verification process is regulated by specific policies and instructions. Investigations are conducted by the Superintendence of Risks, Internal Controls and Compliance or by the Superintendence of Internal Audit, with supervision by the Ethics and Corporate Integrity Committee, which may also order external investigations.
