This report addresses priority topics identified in the materiality review process carried out in 2022, in accordance with the GRI Standards 2021, particularly the GRI 3: Material Topics 2021 framework.
The process followed the concept of double materiality, with a mapping of the Company’s activities based on their effects on the economy, the environment and society, as well as economic, environmental and social impacts that may affect Norte Energia.
This provided us the means to identify topics that are material to the Company and its stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability in the report.
The list of material topics in the 2024 Sustainability Report remained the same as in 2023.
