Note 1: as a reference for the kWh to GJ conversion metric, a website was used that already presents the parameterized conversion factor of 1 kWh equivalent to 0.0036 gigajoules. This factor was applied to convert consumption recorded in the period from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024 at 5:25:36 p.m.

Note 2: Non-renewable fuel consumption data includes fleet vehicles, office equipment and generators.

In 2024, the organization’s total consumption of non-renewable fuels — considering fleet vehicles, office equipment and generators exclusively — was 8,409.37 GJ, representing a 31% reduction compared to 2023. This drop was observed in both diesel and gasoline consumption.

In the same period, the consumption of fuels from renewable sources also showed a significant decline, of around 27% compared to the previous year.

These significant reductions reflect the effectiveness of the management actions implemented in 2024, notably the adoption of a fuel quota. This strategic measure contributed to cost optimization, strengthening budgetary control and more efficient management of fuel use, in line with the Company’s commitments to sustainability and operational efficiency.

Consolidated electricity consumption, in turn, totaled 4,253.16 GJ in 2024, up 136% compared to the 1,802.69 GJ recorded in 2023. This growth is directly related to the increase in the number of consumer units, which increased from 10 to 44 during the period.

In general, there is a trend towards a reduction in the use of fossil fuels, driven by advances in energy efficiency, a transition to alternative sources, and optimization of fleet and equipment use.
