Occupational health and safety management system

Norte Energia uses an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) based on the NBR ISO 45001 standard, and in compliance with Regulatory Standards and the Equator Principles, focusing on reducing occupational risks associated with power generation operations and support activities. The occupational health and safety system follows the Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle and involves leadership and engagement at all hierarchical levels, including active consultation with workers. 

The OSH legal management system is operated through the platform, which provides the following advantages: 

• Integration and automated management of legal requirements and corrective actions;  

• Transparency of information and traceability; 

• Integration with the guidelines of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Equator Principles; and 

• Greater guarantee of compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. 

The management of health and safety information for all direct employees and subcontracted workers is carried out through a platform that ensures control of action plans and data traceability, contributing to efficient document management.
