Promotion of worker health

The 24/7 outpatient clinic at the Belo Monte Hydroelectric Power Plant, sponsored by the Company, provides medical care, including urgent and emergency care. Test results and annual reports help to assess the effectiveness of risk control measures. 

In addition, the Company offers a health plan with nationwide coverage for its employees, guaranteeing access to specialized medical services. As part of its health promotion policy, the Company develops preventive programs and campaigns throughout the year, addressing topics such as combating smoking, STD prevention, breast cancer and prostate cancer. The Company also carries out an annual H1N1 influenza vaccination campaign, providing free immunization to employees and their dependents.
