Prevention and mitigation of occupational health and safety impacts directly linked by business relationships

Norte Energia is committed to reducing occupational risks, both in power generation operations and in support activities. To this end, it adopts a series of measures to prevent and mitigate negative impacts on occupational health and safety, whether for internal employees or outsourced workers from service providers.  

Norte Energia also requires that all activities be preceded by a risk analysis, adopting a hierarchy of controls to manage hazards. Safety data is managed in the Integrated Management System (IMS), with safety indicators and audits based on ABNT NBR 14.280.
