Norte Energia continually seeks to provide opportunities for professional development and growth among its employees. Although it does not have a formal career transition program, the Company offers a variety of initiatives and resources aimed at improving the skills of its employees. 

Major development initiatives implemented include: 

  • NESATECA: A program that promotes reading and the search for knowledge in various areas, with the aim of increasing interest in physical books and stimulating continuous learning; 
  • Você Mais Centrado (A More Focused You): An initiative that offers meetings to help employees manage their thoughts, emotions, stress, and anxiety, covering topics such as neuroscience and mindfulness; 
  • Norte Energia Volunteering Program: Mobilizes employees and outsourced workers to carry out structured and predefined volunteer actions; and 
  • Training and development actions: Initiative aimed at continuous process improvement, aiming to increase employee productivity and performance in a safe environment. 

The Belo Monte Opportunities Program includes the Young Apprentice initiative, which offers specialized training to local residents, contributing to the development of valuable skills for the job market. 

These programs reflect Norte Energia’s concern with the development of its employees, increasing the Company’s competitiveness and the level of satisfaction of its team.
